Flag football moves into round two of play-offs

Round one of the Bahamas Amateur Football Federation (BAFF) Flag Football concluded last weekend, when action took place at the GB Sports Complex.

Both games on Saturday ended with similar scores, proving which teams were the more dominant of the two games.

In the first game, Frecon Alliance ran over Nappy Joe Runners, beating them 46-20 to move on to round two.

In game two on Saturday, the Zorba's Destroyers were crushed by the Container Port Stackers, 44-20.

On Sunday, the Rugby Club Dragons beat up on the Bahama Rock Excavators, 44-20 and in the final game of the day, the Shipyard Wreckers ran over the Eight Mile Rock Raiders 36-12.

So, this weekend, moving into round two, the final four teams will be Frecon Alliance, Container Port Stackers, Rugby Club Dragons and the Shipyard Wreckers.

Winners this weekend will advance to the championship.

Games begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, when Frecon will take on Container Port, followed by the Dragons and Wreckers match-up at 3:30 p.m.
