Destroyers shut out Hot Chicks 11-0

'A' Division

Big Al's Invaders - 6, Stella Artois Eliminators - 5

The Invaders jumped into the lead early in this match as they won all three of the doubles games. In the second one the ladies Gold Cup Singles winner and runner-up Pepper Russell and Anishka Maycock teamed up with Anishka finishing the game with 62 which was also the ladies High Finish for this division.

The Eliminators took the first game of the triples and then the Invaders fought back to take the second one.

In the singles the Eliminators made a valiant effort winning the first four games but the Invaders were able to hold on winning the last two games for the 6-5 match.

Singles winners for Big Al's Invaders were Anishka Maycock and Spence Dorsett.

Big G's Stars - 9, Victoria Inn Warriors - 2

The Stars were right on the mark this week as they ran away with all three of the doubles games. The triples were split at one each. In the singles the Warriors' Cornbread Martinborough won the second game with Big G's taking the other five for their 9-2 game.

Singles Big G's Stars: Jolly Rolle, Andrew Sweeting, Byron Johnson, Patrick Williams and Stephen Roxbury.

Bacardi Super Stars - 7, G.B. Power Shockers - 4

The Superstars lived up to their name again this week winning the first two games of the doubles. The Shockers got onto the scoreboard by taking the third one. The Superstars took both of the triples games.

The first game of the singles was a hot one between Ashley Poitier of Bacardi's and Dave Barr of the Shockers.

Dave opened the game with 81, Ashley answered with 123 and then threw two other tons back to back. In the meantime Dave had a 43 and two scores in the 80s to keep up each player then had a couple more turns Ashley missed his shot at a 19-dart game but Dave took his out in 24-darts for the win.

This was also the low game of the week in this division. The rest of the singles games see-sawed back and forth each team getting three games. Ramon McIntosh shot a perfect score of 180 in his game but in a loosing cause. Final score for the night 7-4 for the Superstars

Singles Bacardi Superstars: Zeke Lewis, Justin Snisky and Anthony Lindsay.

Tons: Ashley Poitier 123, 2x100; Zeke Lewis 98, 2x100, 120; Ramon McIntosh 95, 2x100, 180; Anthony Lindsay 2x100 and Tony Cooper 96, 100.

Singles G.B Power Shockers: Dave Barr, Ossie Gardner and Thomas Grant.

Chances Hornets - 7, Care Maintenance Shooters - 4

The Shooters were first onto the scoreboard taking game one of the doubles. The Hornets then retaliated by winning games two and three. The triples wee split at one game each.

In the singles the Shooters took the first two games but that was as far as the Hornets let them go as they won the remaining four games for the 7-4 match.

Singles Chances Hornets: Basil Sands, George McPhee, Bernard Wilson and Rio Williams

Tons: R.H. Culmer 98, Basil Sands 100; Bernard Thompson 100; Robert McPhee 100 and Bernard Wilson 109.

Singles winners for Care Maintenance Shooters were John Fox and Theo Pelecanos.

'B' Division

Amoury Hard Drivers - 8, Club Culture Rebels - 3

The Hard Drivers were quick off of the mark as they won all three of the doubles games. The triples were split at one game each. In the second one Ann Pratt had the high score for the ladies this week with 162.

In the singles the Rebels took games one and four with the balance of the games going to the Hard Drivers giving them the 8-3 match.

Singles Amoury Hard Driver: Ron Bonaventura, Tim Lund, Peter Collins and Gail Kaltwasser

Tons: Mike Brennan 115; Bill Pollack 125; Tim Lund 125 and Peter Collins 100.

Singles winners for Club Culture Rebels were Wendy Carroll and Ann Pratt.

Ton shooters were Gilbert Pratt 98 and Ann Pratt 162.

Sol Y Luna Los Leones - 6, Shingle House Swillers - 5

Los Leones won the first game of the doubles, this made the Swillers regroup as they took the other two games. Los Leones fought back though taking both of the triples games and then the first two games of the singles.

In game three Julian Knowles of the Swillers won his match in just 24-darts, which is also the short game for the week. They also won game three. Los Leones assured themselves of the match by winning game five. The final game went to the Swillers but the 6-5 match was won by Los Leones.

Singles Sol Y Luna Los Leones: Jarrod Lewis, Ishmael McIntosh and Nat Lewis.

Tons: Ishmael McIntosh 96, 140 and Dennis Knowles 98.

Singles Shingle House Swillers: Julian Knowles, Richard Harvey and June Key.

Tons: Alonzo Efrain Sanchez 112 and Julian Knowles 95, 3x100.

Robbie and Ed's Hot Chicks - 0, Zorba's Destroyers - 11

Unfortunately the Hot Chicks were not able to field a full team and so automatically had to forfeit three games. The Destroyers showed them no mercy as they ran away with all of the games for the 11-0 match.

Singles Zorba's Destroyers: Fritz Simmons, Alfred Lloyd, Dwight Knowles, Nick Vikatos, Henning Gembalies and Dino Pelecanos

Tons: Fritz Simmons 120 and Alfred Lloyd 100, 118, 140.

Elizabeth Key had the only ton of 98 for Robbie and Ed's Hot Chicks.

Seaboard Marine Sharks - 4, G.B. Tennis and Squash Club Racketeers - 7

The Racketeers took the lead early in this match as they won all three of the doubles games and then both of the triples. The Sharks took game one of the singles to get onto the scoreboard, the Racketeers then closed them out by taking games two and three.

The Sharks took the final three games and Lillian Forbes had a 106 finish in her match. The night however belonged to the Racketeers with the 7-4 win.

Singles winners for the Racketeers were Stacy Knowles and Bryan Collins.

Tons: Bryan Collins 120, 140; Andre Burrows 95; Phil Armbrister 121 and Clint Knowles 140.

Singles Seaboard Marine Sharks: Brad Bethel, Tom Christian, Lillian Forbes and Stefano Borsetto.
