Mrs. Bahamas World 2012 contestants officially introduced

The Mrs. Bahamas-World pageant contestants were officially unveiled in Freeport, Grand Bahama on June 16, 2012 at the Pelican Bay Hotel. Helping host the event was Kerel Pinder, Miss Earth Bahamas. Reigning Mrs. Bahamas-World, Keldra Pinder was also on-hand and spoke about her experience in being the country's first Mrs. Bahamas-World.

Mrs. Bahamas-World is open to all Bahamian "married" women (not separated, divorced or widowed) and must be between the ages of 21 through 55 years of age. The winner goes on to represent The Bahamas as an Ambassador to the prestigious MRS. WORLD international pageant at a Host City to be announced later this year.

The winner will also receive gifts and prizes including "Crystal Waterford Crown" which is to be crowned by her husband, the Crystal Trophy, and other prizes such as a designer bag, designer eye wear, jewelry, a round-trip ticket to New York, a fabulous Competition Wardrobe fit for a Queen, along with her national costume.

Contestants are: Thirty-year- old Sophia Muller, a supervisor at "Miss Katey's." Muller was born in Freeport, Grand Bahama and she is sponsored by "La Maison de Besh." She is married to Daniel Christopher Muller, and together they have four children Aurora, Simone, Franz and Gideon.

Maudlene M. Lordues is vying for the National Title of Mrs. Bahamas-World. She is from Grand Bahama and is married to Jean Lordues and together they have two children, Antonique and Jeannya. She is sponsored by Passions Gift Shop she believes in using words like hope, belief, faith and victory."

Natasha Darville is our third contestant vying for the coveted crown and prestigious title as Mrs. Bahamas-World in the upcoming competition slated for July 14, 2012 at the Regency Theatre Freeport, Grand Bahama. Born in Freeport, Grand Bahama, Darville is married to Ronald Audric Darville Jr. Together they have three children - Ethnie, Ziarre and McKaila. She is sponsored by Serenity Spa. Her favorite quote is "Catch me if you can, I am going places."

Former "Top Model" and recently married Mrs. Cindy Lewis-Hollingsworth. Born in Freeport, Grand Bahama, 25- year-old Cindy is married to Devaughn Hollingsworth Snr. and together they have one child, a newborn son Devauhgn Hollingsworth Jr. Hollingsworth is also a teacher at Central Abaco Primary School. A resident of Abaco, she is sponsored by Abaco Hardware. Hollingsworth has a favourite quote that she also shares with her students "Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good"

Thirty-year-old Christie Prescola Knowles a Customs Officer in the Bahamas Customs Department. She is married to Ian Anthony Knowles Snr. together they are parents to seven- year-old Ian Jnr. and five month old Christian. This husband and wife team are also owners of ' The Hangout Game Lounge.' Her hobbies include fishing, reading, travelling and playing video games with her kids - She is sponsored by her family business 'The Hangout Game Lounge.'.Her favourite quote is, "To give real service you must add Something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is Sincerity and intregrity.'

Twenty-three-year-old Wilsanette Adderley is married to Frankly Adderley. Together they are proud parents of a daughter named Brooklyn. Born in Freeport, Grand Bahama this hardworking wife and Mother is employed by Pisces Restaurant Port Lucaya. Being an active person Adderley enjoys cooking and baking, cycling, reading and long walks on the beach. She also volunteers her time with the Grand Bahama Red Cross Meals On Wheels and the Home For The Elderly. She is being sponsored by Glorious Fashion - She also has a favorite quote, Romans 8:28 "All things work for the good of those who love the Lord who are calledaccording to His purpose."
