Inspirational Thought: The Boiling Angry Sea

By Margaret mullings

The sea waves are tossing high as the sound of the boiling sea echoes it's terrible ripping sound across the bay: like the anger of God's wrath being kindled against a rebellious ungodly people, who have turned their backs on Him. Yes the fury of His wrath is like the boiling angry sea, threatening to flood the land! Those that know not God realize that they are in need of a Saviour, but God's people claim to know Him yet we are presumptuously, constantly sinning and rebelling against Him! Remember Noah as he built the ark, he warned of God's judgment yet people made fun of him and waxed even worse. This could be our final warning it is time for us, the people of God to repent and turn from our wicked ways. Yes us Church people time is of the essence, it is time to stop being a saint in Church, and behaving like a devil when we get home from Church.

It is time for the fruit of the spirit to be seen in our lives. Stop back biting and slandering your neighbour , for the boiling angry sea is in a fury! Yes God is not pleased with us Christian folks... judgment is even at the door.

God's wrath is boiling like the angry sea, no more lip service, no more vain oblation, no more of being at ease in your walk with Him! Awaken from slumber for the Master calls you and me to attention.

Let us examine ourselves and repent today, for the boiling angry sea can be heard throughout the land, an indication of God's anger and fury at us His people. For we have become so Churchly so to speak and filled with the world, that we have forgotten that we are the salt of the earth. We have forgotten that we are Kingdom dwellers, lifting up Jesus..seeking out lost souls for the Kingdom of God! Like the boiling angry sea God is angry, for while we are so busy playing Church many souls are dying and going to hell. Soon God will call you and I to give an account of our stewardship. The question we must ask ourselves is have we been faithful to His call? As the sound of the boiling sea gets louder take heed today, for God is still merciful..if only we will amend our ways for His word declares in the book of II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." The boiling angry sea is raging like the fury of the Lord, so let us take heed, lest we all perish, and our living be in vain!

May this message challenge and awaken us to the eminent coming of Jesus Christ, that He may not find us off our watch! Awake! Awake! it is time to prepare for the journey ahead!
