Freeport SDA Church choirs pays tribute to community
There were tear-filled eyes and shout of "hallelujah" as the Sanctuary Choir in a joint effort with the green-robed High Praise Youth Choir, the Adventist Men's Chorale and the Children's Choir rendered special presentations, including the favourite "Days of Elijah."
In his sermon, Pastor Michael Smith admonished the congregation to look upward in faith for new opportunities during the "downward times" as Isaiah did.
The special readings were done by Karen Mackey, Cameron Palmer and Elder Haydon Hanna. Musicians included Franz Scott and Gary on the keyboard, John B on bass, "EJ on drums. Choir directors were Lynn Smith, Dionne Wildgoose and Lawrence Burnside.
All other participants must be commended for their contributions to this special event, which ended with a luncheon.
Recently the Freeport Seventh-Day Adventist Church on Beachway Drives was filled to capacity with invited guests and members who turned out in full support of the Special Community Guest Choir.
