Meet the first entry into The Freeport News's Beautiful Baby competition.

No sooner was yesterday's edition hot off the press when this lovely photo of 10-months-old Kylea 'London' Greene landed in our contest mailbox.

Proud parents Kisstonya and Oscar Greene reckon Kylea's in with a chance of winning ... so do we.

The Freeport News has teamed up with Kelly's to launch the biggest Beautiful Baby Photo Contest The Bahamas has ever seen.

There will be prizes galore for the winners.

The Grand Prize winner will receive:

. A $100 Kelly's gift certificate.

. Be featured in Kelly's Christmas advertising campaign.

. Enjoy a one-night stay for the family at the plush Pelican Bay Hotel.

. Win a thrilling dolphin encounter through Unexso.

Ten additional winners will each receive a $25 Kelly's gift card.

For our category winners - Pretty Princess, Water Baby and Hungry Baby - special prizes have been lined up. Details of further categories will be announced later.

The competition is open for children aged between birth and five years old.

To enter, email your child's photo to

beautifulbaby@nasguard.com. In the email you must include the child's name, age, date of birth, name of parents, telephone number (not to be printed) and email address (not to be printed). Alternatively, you can drop a photo to the Customer Service Desk at Kelly's.

By entering the contest you are giving permission for your child's photo to be published in The Freeport News and any of Kelly's promotion campaigns. Photos will not be returned.

The Freeport News will publish ALL photos for our readers to enjoy and pick their favorite baby. All photos will also appear on our Facebook page for readers to "like" their favorite child. The child with the most "likes" will be awarded a special prize.

The actual judging for the competition will be made by a select panel of judges to be announced later.

The finalists and their families will be invited along to a special prize giving ceremony at a date also to be announced later. The grand prize winner will also be announced at this event.

So start looking for those photos and email them to us right now.
