Organizers of the Missionary Ministry of Revelation Faith Apostolic Ministries announced plans for its Third Annual Seminar under the theme, ‘Knowledge Empowerment for Growth’ (KEG) on Thursday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m.

Event Coordinator Senior Missionary, Etta Noel, during an interview on Tuesday (February 14) said that the event would be hosted on church grounds, located on #64 Jobson Ave, Back-of-Town.

“Our purpose for this seminar is to provide a platform that will empower the body of Christ to venture out and use the resources that are at their disposal,” she said.

According to Noel, the Ministry wanted to impart knowledge by offering intellectual and professional information to better enrich lives through the correct procedure and process in everyday matters.

Noel furthered that KEG’s main objective is to Empower, Enhance, Engage, Enable our leaders and young people to excel in all that God has entrusted to us to the best of our abilities. It is our desire that we as a people would not only be spiritually empowered, but to also be empowered in our daily lives.

“The Bible declares in Hos 4:6 my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children,” she said.

“It is our desire here at Revelation Faith Apostolic Ministries that we as a people would not only be spiritually empowered, but to also be empowered in our daily lives,” she added.

Noel said that the KEG is open to everyone, “and we encourage you to come out and be a part of what God is doing.

“We are not of this world, but we are in this world, so why not empower our lives with knowledge for a better tomorrow,” she said.

Noel added that there will be presenters from the Departments of Bahamas Customs, Immigration, Royal Bahamas Police Force and Maritime engaged in the vast industry of “Border Protection.”

Dr. Michael Darville Minister for Grand Bahama is scheduled to give the opening remarks, Chief Officer of Immigration Ruth U. Pinder - Department of Immigration; Bahamas Customs Superintendent Larry Bodie from the Department of Customs; Chief Superintendent Clarence Reckley of the Royal Bahamas Police Force and Clayton Curtis (Maritime) were listed among those to make presentations.

Senior pastor and evangelist Sidney McIntosh Sr., Revelation Faith Apostolic Ministries noted that it is an honor to be a part of such an event.

“It’s going to be an awesome move of God,” he said.

McIntosh stated that Border Protection speaks in relation to crime and it is a church initiative, because the government is on the right hand of Christ.

He took the opportunity to encourage people to come out and register for the event at a fee, and to come with an open mind to receive the crucial information being given at the seminar.
